Joblin C. Younger is the President of The Friends. He was involved with the Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth (until it was dissolved), the Boston Pride Committee, Greater Boston PFLAG, BAGLY and other notable organizations in and around Boston. He is employed at a medium size law firm in Boston as a Trusts and Estates Administration Paralegal and attends Suffolk University Law School in the Evening Division where he sits on the Executive Board of the Student Bar Association as the Director of Technology and is a liaison to the Massachusetts Lesbian and Gay Bar Association.

Joblin earned his Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Public Policy from The City College of New York (CCNY) in 2005. Joblin held three prestigious Fellowships, won numerous scholarships, mentored incoming students, interned at the New York State Senate in New York and the United States House of Representatives in Washington, DC, worked at a law firm for the duration of his undergraduate career and volunteered for a NYC non-profit multiple times a week.

Joblin has been involved with the Governor's Commission on Gay and Lesbian Youth and The Friends since 2002's Youth Pride Day.
